i did this in art class at school. i quite like it.

the little bits of paper used as the background have words such as 'poet', 'paint', 'contrast', 'compare' and 'beauty' etc and those words' definitions on them. then they were stuck down with glue mixed with red paint. then the painting and spraypainting went over that.

i do hope you like it. :D

cool pic :D I kno hte feeling, kinda, except im a horrible poet in that i hate writing poetry, and I get really annoyed at myself when I have a poem i want to write, lol. what inspired you to do this pic?

well, we had to do a 'self-portrait' kind of thing, but we were basically free to do more or less what we wanted with that. and there's a song, and it has the lyrics 'my hand thinks i'm an artist, but my heart knows i'm a poet.' and i quite like that idea. and i think that i'm a better poet than artist, and ta-da! this is what i can up with. well, i did have a few minor altercations with the teacher because she didn't really like what i wanted to do, but i did it anyway. :D
